Get certified to build AI agents people can trust

An AI agent is a tool, and the hard part is the human problem behind it — who authorised this action, and can you prove it later. KYE Protocol™ certificate programs credential the people who build and operate governed agents: not prompt jockeys, but practitioners who can stand an agent's decision in front of a regulator. You earn the credential by building — and the capstone replays with public keys, cutting an auditor's competence check from days of interviews to minutes.

One credential, sector-neutral core plus specialisations

The family has one coherent root — the sector-neutral builder credential — and sector specialisations that project it onto a regulated domain. You are never asked to learn a parallel system per sector; you learn the authority boundary once, then apply it where you work. Each program is status: draft until issuance opens, declared honestly rather than advertised as awardable before the capstone and enrolment land.

Sector-neutral core

KYE Agentic Governance Builder Certificate™

The practitioner credential for people who design, build, and operate governed AI agents on KYE Protocol™ — Purpose Permission™, evidence & replay, obligation coverage, and Action Admissibility™ at the boundary. The Compliance Automation track is its advanced tier, not a separate certificate.

  • Builder · Compliance Automation

Certifies competence against EU AI Act™, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 · proven by a proctored exam.

Sector specialisation · insurance

KYE Governed Insurance Agent Certificate™

The insurance projection of the builder credential — for people who bring AI into underwriting triage, pricing, claims assessment, fraud-flagging, policy changes, broker/MGA delegation and complaint handling under the KYE Protocol™ insurance sector-pack authority boundary (fairness, consumer duty, Solvency II conduct).

  • Practitioner

Certifies competence against the EU AI Act™ (insurance), the NAIC Model Bulletin on AI, and the NYDFS insurance circular on AI · proven by evidence review.

Entity-level · self-attested entry

KYE Governed Organization™ Certificate

The entity-level entry credential for an organization that runs its AI agents under KYE Protocol™ governance. Self-attested: you declare your governed-agent estate and wire the evidence chain (Purpose Permission™, Resilience Loop™, Evidence Pack™) at the action boundary, and your declaration is listed in the KYE Protocol™ directory. Evidence-backed, never a paid badge — the listing requires your runtime to emit a valid evidence family that is Replay-Proof™ from public keys alone.

  • Governed Organization

Self-attested against EU AI Act™, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 · the honest on-ramp to the audited mark · free to list.

Entity-level · independently audited

KYE Certified Governed Organization™ Certificate

The premium entity-level trust-mark — the AI-governance counterpart to SOC 2 / ISO 27001, awarded only after an independent audit under KYE Delegated Auditability™ confirms your governed-agent estate emits the full evidence chain: every privileged agent action purpose-scoped, evidenced, replayable, WORM-retained and Replay-Proof™ from public keys alone. Audit-gated, never pay-to-display — the fee buys the audit, not the badge.

  • Certified Governed Organization

Certifies organizational AI governance against EU AI Act™, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 · proven by external audit · renewable annually.

More sector specialisations graft onto the same root over time. Two near-identical practitioner certificates for the same competence would overlap — so a new sector is added as a projection of this one credential, never a parallel one.

The capstone is evidence-native, not a quiz

You do not memorise clauses and tick boxes. The KYE Governed Insurance Agent Certificate™ capstone asks you to build a real governed insurance agent and prove it the way a regulator would — by reading the evidence, not your slides. A multiple-choice exam tells an employer you can recall a framework; an Evidence Pack™ that replays tells them you can ship one.

  1. Frame the human problem. Pick a consequential insurance action — say a claims decline — and name who must remain accountable for it before any agent is allowed near it.
  2. Bind the agent's authority. Scope what the agent may access and do, purpose-bound and time-boxed, so the tool can never act outside the delegation a named underwriter or claims handler gave it.
  3. Emit the Evidence Pack™. Run the action so it produces a valid kye.evidence.pack.v1 — purpose, admissibility, decision map and authority grant, sealed at the moment it happened.
  4. Survive Replay-Proof™. A reviewer re-derives your verdict from the sealed pack and public keys alone. If it replays, you pass — the proof, not your word, carries the credential.

Boundary: KYE Protocol™ governs whether the agent's action may carry authority and proves the basis — it does not run your agent, write the policy, or decide the claim. The certificate proves you can build inside that boundary.

Two ladders, kept separate on purpose

Certifying a person and certifying a product are different claims, so KYE Protocol™ keeps them on two surfaces that point at each other rather than blurring into one. This page credentials builders; the conformance ladder credentials the agents and products they ship.

Keeping the two distinct is deliberate: a certified builder may still ship an un-conformant agent, and a conformant agent may have been built by an uncertified team. Buyers ask both questions, so KYE Protocol™ answers each with its own evidence.

Who each program is for

If you are responsible for an AI agent that touches a consequential decision — and someone will eventually ask you to justify it — one of these credentials is for you.

Begin

Enrolment opens alongside the capstone and exam; until then you can start a governed pilot and meet the agents you will be certified to build. The fastest way to understand the credential is to watch an Evidence Pack™ replay.
