KYE Lens™ is a free, privacy-by-design browser extension. As you — or an agent acting for you — browse, it shows whether each site's agentic-access authority is evidenced, asserted, suspended, or unverified, by reading the site's own Resource Authority Badge™.
It is local-only by construction: no browsing data ever leaves your machine, and it never invents a verdict — it reports only what a site itself declares.

- Uses the
activeTabpermission only — it reads a page when you click it, never in the background. - Makes zero network requests and stores nothing; no browsing history, no telemetry, no exfiltration.
- Aligns with GDPR data-minimisation by design: the only data it touches is the current page's own markup.
What the badges mean
A site declares its authority with a single HTML meta tag; KYE Lens™ surfaces it.
Evidenced
Access decisions emit Evidence Packs™ and are replay-verifiable from public keys.
Asserted
The site declares its access terms, not yet independently evidenced.
Suspended
Authority paused pending re-assessment (rights or jurisdiction changed).
Unverified
No authority declaration — treat with normal caution.
Boundary: the Lens surfaces a site's declared authority; it does not enforce access, run agents, or proxy traffic — that is the job of Open Access Authority™ at the action boundary. It is part of the KYE Protocol™ platform.
Install
The extension is open source (Apache-2.0). For now, load it unpacked in developer mode; a Chrome Web Store listing follows.
- Get the source from the KYE Protocol™
public/oss/kye-lens/directory. - Open
chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.
